Summer Work

I'm trying to finish this very large (long) textile piece for The Black Woman Is God exhibition at SOMArts this summer. The embroidery is an by hand and I had to run a lot of tests for the right colours. Hopefully I can finish half of the embroidery by the end of the week. This is not to good for my tendonitis in my right wrist that I injured at tennis but I'm powering through with my arm all taped up with rock tape!
