September I Remember

So I am posting this overdue September post in 2018. A lot has happened that prevented me from posting for a while. The main event being the sudden death of my Aunt. I started working at San Jose State University as the temporary Photography Facility Coordinator in August and thankfully my union covers bereavement leave so I was able to go and be with my family in St. Lucia for a few days. Día de los Muertos Collaboration with Carmina Eliason

Upcoming collaboration for the Día de los Muertos Exhibition at SOMArts Cultural Centre with Carmina Eliason. Checkout her website: Titled "Lost Threads" the installation examines the reconstructions of ancestry and identity. "Lost Threads" includes tapestries, collected and preserved objects, images, etc. Opening reception is Friday, 6th October 6pm-9pm. Closing reception is Thursday, 9th November 6pm-9pm.
