TBWIG - The Black Woman Is God 2017: New Work

I'm working on some new work to be included in the The Black Woman Is God exhibition at SOMArts this summer. Unfortunately before I can start printing and sewing I need to finish clearing my garage. I've been doing spring cleaning in my studio and need to sell of some art supplies and artworks. I'll be posting some dates very soon. I'm hoping to have the sale this Sunday 7th May. Keep a lookout for the location and times on Instagram and FB. I'll also post updates here.

On the work I've been developing, I'm going to be using some appropriated imagery, as well as poetry integrated into the piece by stitching. I'm returning to fabric! Take a look at my teeny tiny previews.
